Friday 3rd July is Sports Day at Finsbury Park Athletics Track:

Students are asked to arrive at the track at 8:45am unless parents would like them to be accompanied by an adult at school. If so, they must arrive at school at 8:30am.
Please be aware that attendance at Sports Day is NOT optional and absence on the day will be treated the same as any other school day. There will be no provision for students to remain in school as all staff will be at Sports Day. If a student arrives at school late, they will be expected to make their own way to Finsbury Park.
Unfortunately, parents and carers are not allowed to attend the event.
CLOTHING
Students are not required to wear their school uniform on the day but instead should wear their usual school PE kit of black shorts/tracksuit bottoms and trainers. However, instead of wearing their usual PE top they should wear a sports top predominantly the same colour of their Sports Day team of either Blue or White (your child will have been told prior as to what team they are in) this will be stated in the Sports Day assemblies and Tutor Time slides. Students should be dressed appropriately in sportswear and not treat it as just a non-uniform day (any PE kit deemed inappropriate may result in being sent home).
It is advisable to bring clothing for cold and wet conditions as well. If we have a warm day please ensure that your child has sun cream.
FOOD & DRINK
Students should bring their own food and refreshments with them. Once on site they will not be allowed to leave the track area until the end of the event, not even to the park cafe. If your child receives Free School Meals they will be provided with a school packed lunch. If your child is entitled to one but does not wish to receive a packed lunch please complete and return the reply slip below. It is recommended that students bring plenty to drink with them for the duration of the morning, preferably water.
The event is expected to finish at around 1.30pm. Students will be dismissed from the park to make their own way home. However, if students wish to be accompanied back to school with staff, please indicate this on the reply slip handed to students.
